Court-appointed guardian, conservator, and trustee services
Professional Court-Appointed Fiduciary Services
As a licensed Arizona fiduciary, we provide professional guardian, conservator, and trustee services when appointed by the court or designated in estate planning documents.
Who Needs Fiduciary Services?
Fiduciary services are needed when an individual is unable to manage their own affairs due to age, disability, or incapacity. This includes adults with cognitive impairments, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those who lack family members able to serve in these roles.
When Are These Services Required?
Court appointment becomes necessary when someone can no longer make sound decisions about their personal care, finances, or legal matters. Family members, healthcare providers, or social service agencies may petition the court for appointment of a guardian or conservator.
How We Deliver These Services
We work closely with families, attorneys, healthcare providers, and courts to ensure comprehensive care. Our approach combines legal expertise with compassionate personal service, always acting in the best interest of those we serve while maintaining full transparency and accountability.

Key Fiduciary Responsibilities
As a court-appointed fiduciary, we manage a comprehensive range of responsibilities with professionalism and care.
Personal Care Decisions
Making decisions about healthcare, living arrangements, and daily care needs while respecting the individual's preferences and dignity.
Financial Management
Managing income, paying bills, protecting assets, and making sound financial decisions on behalf of the protected person.
Legal Compliance
Ensuring all actions comply with court orders, state laws, and fiduciary duties while maintaining detailed records and reports.
Property Management
Overseeing real estate, personal property, and other assets to ensure proper maintenance and protection.
Court Reporting
Preparing and filing required court reports, accountings, and updates on the status and well-being of the protected person.
Family Communication
Maintaining open communication with family members, keeping them informed while respecting privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Court Appointment Process
Understanding how fiduciary appointments work in Arizona courts.
1. Petition Filed
A family member, healthcare provider, social service agency, or other interested party files a petition with the court requesting appointment of a guardian or conservator.
2. Investigation & Evaluation
The court may order an investigation and medical evaluation to determine the individual's capacity and need for a fiduciary. Notice is provided to all interested parties.
3. Court Hearing
A hearing is held where the court reviews evidence, hears testimony, and determines whether appointment is necessary and appropriate. The proposed ward has the right to attend and be represented by counsel.
4. Court Order & Letters
If the court determines appointment is necessary, it issues an order appointing the fiduciary and letters of guardianship or conservatorship authorizing the fiduciary to act.
5. Ongoing Oversight
The fiduciary must file regular reports with the court (typically annually) detailing the status, care, and finances of the protected person. The court maintains ongoing oversight of the guardianship or conservatorship.
